Huge Al Qaeda Meeting, U.S. Didn’t Know?

Called “the largest and most dangerous gathering of al-Qaeda in years” by the CNN reporter, Barbara Starr, a recent meeting in Yemen was caught on video.

There was no response from the U.S. to this concentration of high value targets. The video asks whether the CIA and DoD didn’t know about it or were they unable to respond quickly enough? Were there no drones within striking distance?

The terrorist known as “al-Qaeda’a crown prince”, is seen exchanging kisses with other terrorists, speaking in public and stirring the pot against America. There seems to be little concern among those in attendance that an American drone strike could be in the offing.

The speaker, Nasir al-Wuhayshi says “We must eliminate the cross…the bearer of the cross is America.” So much for the peaceful coexistence argument made by those attending the neighborhood mosque in the States.

The blurring of the faces was apparently done by al-Qaeda to obscure the identity of some of their members.

The efficacy of America’s intelligence gathering operations is brought into question by the fact that such a large meeting was able to be held, including top leadership, and the United States was caught off guard and unaware.

The video also raises the possibility that there may have been some other reason why an attack was passed up that we are unaware of. Given the bungling way in which our State Department handles affairs including incidences such as Benghazi!
