Sean Hannity had two of the most controversial rising stars of the Republican Party on his show Wednesday night, Senators Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), and he attempted to get their take on the increased infighting within the party that has been happening over the last couple of years. But according to his two guests, the GOP is "all one big happy family now."

"Both of you have a had an intramural struggle with prominent Republicans," Hannity said, citing Paul's difficulties with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie specifically. "Oh, no, no, we're all one big happy family now," Paul said. "It's water under the bridge."

"No pun intended?" Hannity asked.

When Hannity brought up Sen. John McCain's criticism of Cruz, the Texas senator sidestepped the question, saying, "I think the way we unite Republicans is we stand for principle. If we're standing to defend the Constitution, that brings together Republicans across every stripe, whether they are conservatives or libertarians or whether they're right in the middle. That brings together independents and moderates."
